They have a tasty vegan pizza. I had enough left over on the personal size for lunch and snack the next day.
Love the outdoor seating here! I always get the beer of the month for $4 and is always tasty. Service is always good even when they're busy. We love to get the bruschetta, ceasar salad, and pepperoni/Italian sausage pizza. All are delicious. Sometimes the bruschetta not on the delivery menu which is disappointing but that's probably ubers fault and not Mellows. Definitely a staple and will continue to come back
At mellow mushroom was amazing! Paul is our server. He was very attentive to all of our needs and the management and staff were very welcoming! I would definitely recommend this mellow mushroom location for sure! Oh, Paul is very friendly and I recommend that he gets employee of the year!
I visited Mellow Mushroom during my vacation in Charleston and it was a great place for the family to eat together. They had a high chair for my baby and a variety of vegan options. I really liked how clean and kid friendly Mellow Mushroom is. Additionally their menu is so customizable for a vegan diet to your family member that believes they are a carnivore. Where things fell short was the service was a bit slow. It took a long time for our table to be greeted, and our server was not too familiar with what all could be made vegan. I do appreciate, however, that our server checked with the kitchen about vegan options. Everything that was supposed to be vegan definitely came out plant-based. I do wish Mellow Mushroom had a specifically vegan menu. We ordered the veggie pizza and substituted vegan cheese. The pizza was pretty bland. I think if they had a vegan menu there would be pizza options with more flavor and I would have enjoyed the food more. The pretzel bites were made vegan for us and those were phenomenal!! We probably should have ordered 2 of them. We really appreciated them making that modification for us. Overall Mellow Mushroom was a good experience. I think there is room for improvement but I would certainly go back.
Solid for "chain" pizza, beats the others by far. In my opinion the thin crust is the way to go. They have an array of specialty pizzas, but I stick to the basics, give them a try.
Yay we found a great pizza place so close to our home base. Mellow Mushroom has some great gluten free pizza options and the rest of the family has enjoyed the white pizza and cheese pizza. The sauce is great and dough is cooked to your preference, I like my pizza well done. I'm not a big fan of many pizza places but this one will continue to be on our list as long as we are in the area. Yummy in my tummy.
Of course we know this classic pizza chain, but I honestly choose mellow over most pizza places in the area. Whether you call in or place an order online for pick up or eat in the restaurant the service is always pretty good. The pizza is always hot and your order is correct! Honestly these 3 things will seal the deal for me. The restaurant and bar are clean and also good for big parties or groups. Lots of TVs for sports too. And the neat decor always makes mellow a good time. The outdoor space is big with corn hole boards too. There's also lunch deals for weekday lunch options with pizza by the slice and small salads! And it always heats up SO well in the oven when there's leftovers!!!
